Hewlett-Packard provides technology for Venturi Formula E

The Monaco-based Venturi Formula E Team has announced Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) as the team’s official technology partner.

For the FIA ABB Formula E seasons five to seven, Venturi will benefit from HPE’s expertise, technologies, infrastructure and innovation, supporting critical team performance functions on and off the track. Once implemented, the technology should aid efficient team workflow and assist with race execution.

Motor racing returns to Switzerland this weekend on Sunday 10 June 2018 after a 64-year absence, and the Mouser Electronics-sponsored Dragon team is gearing up to take the chequered flag.

The tenth round of the 2018 ABB FIA Formula E championship will be a historic trip through the streets of Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city. It’s a tight course of only 2.4km, but with two unusually long straights some speed records are likely to be set.

The Venturi Formula E team has announced a long-term technology partnership with ZF, a specialist in driveline and chassis technology as well as active and passive safety technology.

Venturi and ZF will work in a partnership to develop powertrain and other technology for the FIA Formula E series.

Venturi Formula E opts for Rohm SiC technology

The Venturi Formula E Team has entered a technical partnership with Japanese semiconductor company Rohm Semiconductor. Announced ahead of this weekend’s inaugural EDF Paris ePrix event, it will see Venturi Automobiles using silicon carbide (SiC) technology in the Venturi Formula E cars from the start of season three.

Mouser rides Dragon for Formula E season two

Mouser Electronics will partner with Jay Penske’s Dragon Racing team in the second season of the FIA Formula E all-electric car racing series that debuts on 24 October 2015 in China.

The Mouser-backed Dragon Racing team boasts some considerable talent, including Loic Duval, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013, and European Formula Master Champion Jerome D’Ambrosio. Their numbers six and seven cars will sport prominent Mouser branding on the race cars and team equipment, along with branding from Mouser’s supplier partner Molex.

Mouser Electronics is sponsoring the China Racing Formula E Team. The team is competing in the international 2014-15 Formula E racing series, built around all-electric cars, which started on 13 September in Beijing.
