Allegro Microsystems AMT49105 ISO 26262 compliant n-channel power mosfet driver

Allegro Microsystems has announced an ISO 26262 compliant n-channel power mosfet driver.

The AMT49105 is said to simplify motor systems designs and provide footprint reduction by integrating power analogue requirements.

Thanks to a robust output gate drive, this device can be used in a wide range of applications, including power applications above 1kW. Additionally, it provides the Lin transceiver, regulated microprocessor supply, phase monitors for sensorless BLDC control and other features that reduce overall power consumption. 

Lattice software receives ISO 26262 certification

ISO 26262 adds to Lattice’s IEC 61508 certification

Lattice Semiconductor has announced ISO 26262 qualification of its Diamond 2.1 software for road vehicle functional safety. The certification defines a safety compliant methodology for automotive applications throughout the lifecycle of automotive electronics and integrated safety systems.

This ISO 26262 qualification complements Lattice’s existing IEC 61508 functional safety of electrical, electronic and programmable electronic safety-related systems qualification. Both are certified by TÜV Rheinland in Germany, a testing, inspection and certification service.

Onsemi cmos platform aims to improve image quality

Onsemi 2.6Mpixel AR0233 cmos image sensor

On Semiconductor has announced a cmos image sensor platform to improve performance and image quality in automotive applications such as adas, mirror replacement, rear and surround view systems, and autonomous driving.

The Hayabusa platform has a 3.0µm backside illuminated pixel design that delivers a charge capacity of 100,000 electrons, with other automotive features such as simultaneous on-chip high dynamic range (HDR) with LED flicker mitigation (LFM), plus real-time functional safety and automotive grade qualification.

Allegro two-wire Hall-effect ICs follow ISO 26262

Allegro Microsystems Hall-effect switch ICs

Allegro Microsystems has released a family of two-wire vertical Hall-effect switch ICs with advanced diagnostics. The A1130, A1131 and A1132 have been developed in accordance with ISO 26262.

These devices have integrated continuous diagnostic features and a safe output state that supports a functional safety level of Asil B. They have a two-wire current output interface that facilitates open and short diagnosis along with signal path verification from input to output.
