Onsemi cmos platform aims to improve image quality

On Semiconductor has announced a cmos image sensor platform to improve performance and image quality in automotive applications such as adas, mirror replacement, rear and surround view systems, and autonomous driving.

The Hayabusa platform has a 3.0µm backside illuminated pixel design that delivers a charge capacity of 100,000 electrons, with other automotive features such as simultaneous on-chip high dynamic range (HDR) with LED flicker mitigation (LFM), plus real-time functional safety and automotive grade qualification.

Littelfuse buys OnSemi automotive portfolio for $104m

Littelfuse is acquiring a product portfolio of transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes, switching thyristors and insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) for automotive ignition applications from On Semiconductor for $104m.

This portfolio has annualised sales of approximately $55m. The transactions are expected to close before the end of this month.
